Fortune G-P Farms (Lanka) Ltd., has exported two consignments of Broiler Breeder Parent chicks to Nepal. This company is a member of the Bairaha Group. Fortune G-P Farms (Lanka) Ltd is one of the only two companies in Sri Lanka which produces Broiler Breeder Parent chicks.

Bairaha Farms PLC. was adjudged the winner of the Silver Award in the category of Manufactures and Consumer Products awarded by Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council. Bairaha Farms PLC. was adjudged the joint winner of the Bronze Award in the category of Retailers of Finished Products awarded by Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council. Fortune G-P Farms (Lanka) Ltd. was awarded the Gold Award in the Medium category for Input Supplier (Poultry) awarded by National Agribusiness Council at the Agri-Business Awards-2009.
